Process Serving Info

Questions about service of process? Here we have answered some of the most frequently asked questions we face.

What is Service of Process?

The United States legal procedure requires that all parties must be notified if they are facing legal action against them in a court of law. This notification, also known as service of process, is accomplished through delivery of documents describing the legal action. Legal documents include subpoenas, summonses, complaints, writs and order to show cause.

What does a professional process server do?

A process server is responsible for delivering legal documents to the parties involved in court proceedings. We will locate the individual named on the document, travel to that person to deliver the documents, verify the person's identity, and then provide you with a signed Affidavit of Service, or proof of service.
